Mate Series Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-20

Mate Series apps are designed to help users organize text, practice communication, record private notes, study, edit selected photos, and solve everyday problems. This policy describes the baseline privacy approach for Mate Series apps including AishaMate, YumeMate, KotobaMate, SeitonMate, PrezenMate, OshiMate, InteriMate, ChoiceMate, LearnMate, and LightMate.

Data Stored On Device

Drafts, notes, generated results, and history may be stored locally on your device so you can review previous sessions. You can delete local history inside the app where the feature is available.

AI Processing

Some Mate Series apps may send the text you enter, selected files, recordings, transcripts, URLs, and app-generated measurements to the Mate Series server in order to generate results. The server may forward the minimum necessary content to third-party processors such as OpenAI or Google/Gemini for AI generation, transcription, source understanding, and coaching. Do not enter secrets, passwords, financial credentials, medical emergencies, or information you are not allowed to share.

Dream Journal And Image Processing

YumeMate may process selected dream journal text, dream cards, dream-world encyclopedia entries, saved visual descriptions, and related app data through our server in order to generate dream cards, encyclopedia updates, story notes, reports, and dream-world images.

Generated images and related dream-world data are used for app functionality and are not used for advertising tracking. YumeMate is for creative journaling and private dream-world organization, not for psychological diagnosis, medical treatment, dream fortune telling, or future prediction.

Audio And Document Processing

PrezenMate may process selected audio recordings, confirmed transcripts, preparation notes, rehearsal scenarios, target time, speech metrics such as pace/filler/pause/volume stability, slide timing data, and selected PDF/PPTX presentation files through the Mate Series server for transcription, coaching, document extraction, and document rehearsal.

PrezenMate identifies the data-sharing step in the app and asks for permission before sending recording or document data for AI processing. Audio and transcript data may be sent to OpenAI for transcription and coaching. When PPTX visual conversion is enabled, the selected presentation file may be sent to a document conversion provider such as ConvertAPI only to convert it into rehearsal pages or PDF. Do not upload confidential documents, medical records, personal data about other people, or files you are not allowed to share.

Converted document data and AI results are used for app functionality and are not used for advertising tracking.

Vehicle Companion Processing

AishaMate may process selected vehicle profile fields, owner notes, conversation text, drive diary notes, iPhone sensor summaries, maintenance records, generated character prompts/images, realtime voice audio, and coarse pass-by scan data through the Mate Series server for vehicle identity analysis, companion chat, drive diary generation, image generation, realtime voice conversation, and opt-in pass-by matching.

AishaMate asks for in-app AI consent before sending profile, conversation, diary, image, voice, or pass-by data for AI processing. Voice audio may be sent to OpenAI Realtime through a short-lived session credential. Manual pass-by scan uses coarse location for app functionality and short retention; it does not show exact location, maps, routes, home/work locations, or owner identity to other users.

AishaMate is a car companion and memory app. It does not provide mechanical diagnosis, emergency assistance, manufacturer/dealer advice, insurance advice, or safe-driving guarantees. OBD-II vehicle-internal data is not part of the current v1 app.

Oshi Activity Processing

OshiMate may process selected oshi profile fields, profile images stored locally in the app, copied announcements, screenshots selected by the user, selected photos, ticket and deadline notes, spending records, goods records, event impressions, and report drafts through the Mate Series server to extract schedules, organize budgets, answer next-action questions, create photo memories, and generate private or share-ready report drafts. Do not upload ticket QR codes, reservation numbers, seat numbers, payment codes, personal addresses, private messages, or other information you are not allowed to share.

OshiMate asks for external AI processing consent before sending selected announcement, screenshot, photo, profile, ticket, spending, goods, or record data for AI processing. AI request contents such as announcement text, screenshots, photos, oshi names, ticket fields, event records, or AI output bodies are not intentionally stored by OshiMate. OshiMate may use local notifications for application deadlines, payment deadlines, and event preparation; privacy settings can hide oshi names, venue names, seats, amounts, and ticket details from notification text.

Room Photo And Interior Processing

InteriMate may process selected room photos, room notes, budget constraints, rental restrictions, and style preferences through the Mate Series server for room analysis, improvement plans, shopping-list suggestions, and before/after image generation. Room photos can contain personal information such as faces, mirrors, mail, documents, screens, addresses, or location clues; review photos before uploading.

Voting SNS And Attribute Processing

ChoiceMate may process user attributes, A/B votes, private vote reasons, and question text to calculate aggregate poll results, segment results, and issue-group analysis. User attributes and raw vote reasons are not intended to be shown as public profile data. Small segments are hidden to reduce personal identification risk.

Learning Source Processing

LearnMate may process user-selected learning sources such as pasted text, PDFs, web article URLs, lecture audio, user recordings, public YouTube URLs, source titles, generated notes, review cards, quiz answers, weak concepts, tags, and device identifiers through the Mate Series server for source extraction, transcription, AI study-material generation, review scheduling, and Q&A. LearnMate asks for external AI processing consent before sending selected source content for AI processing.

LearnMate is for personal study support. It does not guarantee academic, medical, legal, financial, or professional correctness and should not be used to redistribute source content or bypass access restrictions.

Photo Development Processing

LightMate may process user-selected photos, purpose categories, subcategories, slider settings, privacy blur settings, export settings, and generated image results through the Mate Series server for AI photo development, image-edit instruction planning, image generation, comparison, and export support. LightMate asks for confirmation before sending selected photos for external AI processing.

Selected photos may contain faces, vehicle plates, addresses, documents, QR codes, screens, reflections, location clues, or other personal information. Review photos before generation. LightMate is a photo editing support app and does not guarantee identity preservation, product condition accuracy, vehicle identification accuracy, room structure accuracy, or marketplace compliance.

Device Identifiers

Some apps generate a random device identifier for app functionality such as abuse prevention, request limits, purchase state handling, and service reliability. This identifier is not used for advertising tracking.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We may use purchase status only to unlock paid app functionality.

Third-Party Processors

Mate Series apps may use OpenAI for AI text generation, transcription, image generation, image editing, image understanding, and coaching features; Google/Gemini for supported public YouTube URL understanding and other source processing where enabled; ConvertAPI for PPTX conversion where enabled; and Apple for App Store purchases and subscription validation. We use these providers only for app functionality and require handling consistent with user privacy and data protection obligations.

Analytics And Tracking

Current baseline apps do not use third-party advertising tracking. Purchase status, device identifiers, and user-provided content are used for app functionality such as request limits, service reliability, and paid feature access.
